Pay starts at $12.25 ($0.75 for night shift) an hour and pay increase is based on performance. Growth and Advancement opportunities are available Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 1st shift - 7:00am to 3:30pm. Monday - Friday 2nd shift - 3:30pm to 12:00 pm Monday - Saturday 1st shift - 6:00am to 4:30pm Location: Industrial Park Dr./Bridgeport Dr., Kernersville, NC. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: High school Diploma, GED, or equivalent 1 Year experience in manufacturing or equipment maintenance Ability to read, write and speak English fluently Verbal and numerical intelligence Ability to accurately read measuring tape measure and ruler; accurately read calipers and match number sequence. Differentiate quality molding by size, surface consistency, color, etc. Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting and carrying of product weighing 30 to 50 pounds Frequent pushing or pulling of material and/or equipment Frequent standing when working and when driving powered industrial equipment Frequent walking, primarily in the warehouse Regular reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling and twisting Repetitive motion and substantial movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers Exposure to extreme temperatures dependent on external climate and proximity to dock doors/exits. High noise level and moving machinery Work Breakdown: Inspection Inspect that the moulding produced matches the step sample for each manufacturing step being performed. Alert the CAF Production Operator and/or management of any discrepancies. (machining operations) Ensure that the finished moulding matches the master control sample for each item. (final inspection) Reject moulding that does not meet the “Moulding Specification Requirements”, (min/max length, number of defects per stick, clear footage between defects, etc.). Retain samples of moulding defects detected for management review. (final inspection) Count and package finished moulding according to the standard identified for each item. (final inspection) Product Flow Feed materials into machines at the rate directed by the CAF Production Operator and/or management. Ensure that only quality materials meeting standards are being fed into machines. (machining operations) Catch materials at machines at the machine run rate, following stacking standards, and without damaging moulding. (machining operations) Achieve expected productivity, which varies based on the work center and the size and type of moulding. Safety & Organization Maintain a rest area and clean production area for safe and efficient operation, including replenishment of supplies. Follow all safety requirements. Wear appropriate safety equipment at all times.
