Description

The Madeira School is seeking part-time Stable Hands to join its Riding Department. The facility, located in McLean, VA, supports a year-round comprehensive riding program, including approximately 30 school owned and boarder horses. The hours may include weekday and weekend hours depending upon the needs of the school: M-F 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm; Sat-Sun 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm. Responsibilities include: giving horses hay and water, putting blankets and boots on for turnout, leading horses out to paddocks, picking stalls as needed, other tasks as assigned. Requirements: at least 3 years hands-on experience in handling horses, punctual, reliable, authorized to work in the US for any employer.
