I found two dogs roaming my neighborhood right before the storm. I took them in and have had them for two nights now. I can not keep them because I already have 3 dogs of my own. One of them had on a collar and seems to know basic commands so I know she belongs to someone. (They do not have microchips.) The other seems to be much younger and only knows "sit" but is well behaved just lots of energy due to his age. My guess is the German Shepard mix is 7 months to 1 year and the Pit mix is about 3-4 months. I would prefer for them to go back to their homes but if someone would like to take them in please contact me. I have also reached out to a rescue who is willing to do the vetting but they need a foster to hold them so this is also an option.
