This is a full-time, 12 hour shift, overnight (NOC) position supporting the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments. At Touchmark in the West Hills, we say: I AM AN ALLY • I AM A FRIEND • I AM A GIVER The Janitorial Technician part of the job will focus on ensuring that all interior common areas of our beautiful campus is attractive, clean, and well-maintained. Your high-energy, dedicated attitude toward your work will allow residents to rest easy, knowing their homes and surroundings are in good hands. The successful candidate will: -Have Janitorial/Custodial experience including: -Carpet cleaning and floor care -Wash windows -Must be able to operate standard equipment for janitorial tasks -Have Housekeeping experience including: Cleaning bathrooms Dusting Cleaning kitchens Vacuuming and sweeping Work well in our team: -Enjoy working with seniors -Able to take and follow directions of manager -Patient and tactful when dealing with residents, team members and general public The Front Desk part of the job will be minimal as this position covers the desk while the Front Desk team member takes their 30 minute meal break. You will perform duties such as greeting and signing in/out all guests and vendors who enter the building, handling all internal and external switchboard inquiries, tracking resident and guest requests. The ideal candidate will: -Have a commitment to Touchmark’s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers -Possess a high school diploma or equivalent -Have a “can do” attitude towards their work and be passionate about maintaining a five-star site appearance -Be willing to work outside in all weather conditions -Be able to read, write, and speak English in order to effectively communicate with residents and team members, and have the physical ability to perform tasks that require continuous walking, standing, bending, and lifting -Have front desk experience -A professional appearance, combined with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Touchmark is an alcohol and drug-free workplace and an EEO Employer.
