About the position: Our client takes pride in its ability to rapidly adapt and service the ever-changing demands of the temperature-controlled food industry. They provide cold storage, international repacking, logistics services, inland transportation, and national freight services. Essential Job Functions Shipping and Receiving Unloading and loading trailers Pulling and checking orders Operate electric pallet jacks Work flexible schedules in order to meet customer and company needs, which may include extended shifts and weekend work maintain adherence to schedule Other duties as assigned by leadership MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Flexible individual who can adjust and perform during varying levels of work demand, including being flexible with work hours. Must be able to spend extended days and weekends, as needed and directed. Knowledge of warehouse Must be able to spend extended time standing, walking, and working in a warehouse environment (90% of the time spent on your feet). Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs. may be required. Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, reach truck and other warehouse equipment is a plus but not required. (we are willing train) Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations. Ability to follow, practices, policies and procedures Education, Experience & Skills High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) is required. Benefits and Perks Paying: $16.00 an hour Hours are 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM or 10:0 AM to 10:00 PM (Monday through Friday) Temp to hire position.
