Description
The maintenance Tech’s main responsibilities are to assist in maintaining properties' physical condition of the exterior and interior, as well as promoting resident satisfaction. Our maintenance team is customer service driven so that they will create a lasting influence on visitors, prospects, and residents.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
Diagnose and perform maintenance/repairs on A/C and heating, boilers, electrical and plumbing systems, water and sewer lines, stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings, roofing, gutters, tile, carpet, flooring, fireplaces, ceiling fans, appliances, shutters, doors, cabinets, windows,, walls and ceilings, security system, and other equipment as required
Perform preventative maintenance
Ability to perform high level, quality work.
Customer Service oriented
Maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies
Periodical inspections of the property
Schedule and perform all maintenance/repair related turn events
Provide professional and courteous resident relations
Performance management
Assign tasks, supervise, and evaluate subordinate staff and vendors. Scheduling so service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Perform facility maintenance repairs as requested and preventative maintenance
Coordinate and perform administrative and maintenance duties during summer operations
Order, store, and maintain an inventory of repaired equipment, supplies, and materials
Perform room and building inspections and determine individual or group cost
Inspect and report vandalism and common area damages
Computer/Internet literate
Requirements
4+ years of related property maintenance experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be organized, reliable, self-motivated, and courteous
Must be able to work as a team player
Ability to prioritize and perform multiple projects
Work well others
Maintain a professional image
Must have a reliable vehicle to use for work
Must have basic tools needed to perform jobs.
