Detailer As a detailer you will be responsible for cleaning vehicles before repairs begin, and also cleaning vehicles for delivery. This job also requires transporting vehicles and performing general shop labor including but not limited to emptying trash, sweeping floors, and giving assistance when requested by technicians. Job Description: • Clean interior and exterior of vehicles when dropped off by customers. • Protect the inside of vehicles by covering dash and seats before repairs begin • Clean interior and exterior of vehicles prior to delivery. Body repairs have been completed at this point so extra attention must be paid to clean out any dust that may have settled during repair process. • Vacuum insides and trunk areas of vehicle for delivery • Clean under hood • Wax vehicles when appropriate • Empty trash daily • Assist in moving vehicles both on the lot and transporting from the lot to a dealership • Ensure lot is secure at the end of the day before leaving • Purchase and maintain inventory through our supplies vendor • Perform additional job duties as requested from management. Job Requirements: • 1+ Year experience • Ability to read/interpret documents such as safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions and procedures manual. • Excellent communication skills, high level of initiative, and ability to work in a strong team environment. • Set an example of positive attitude and professionalism, including a neat, orderly and safe work environment. • Required to operate equipment and move vehicles in a safe manner at all times. • Required to be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. • Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, see, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls. • Requires both indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions. • Professional appearance in accordance with body shop policies/dress code • Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license and a safe driving record. • Ability to pass pre-employment screening to include: drug screen, formal background check, and MVR check Principals only.
