I recently purchased them earlier this month but my cats won’t let up on trying to get to them which is causing them to squawk/chirp out of fear. This is not the best living experience for the birds nor the constant having to take the cats away from the area. The best home would be where there are either no cats or cats that get along with birds. Keep in mind this is a breed of parrot so they are noisy birds but it only squawks intermittently and normally last maybe a minute or so with hours in between. He loves to be up on your shoulders and if you hold your forearm out he will shimmy his little feet over onto your arm. It takes about 2 weeks for birds to get acclimated to new homes but by the 3rd day they were calmer and waiting to get attention.
