Description
Witherspoon Chandelier Cleaning is looking for a fun, confident, and positive employee to send out to jobs in company van by themselves or with a partner! We love our strong, fun company culture. We are not stiff, boring workers that robot through the day trying to just make money. We enjoy going to new places every day and talking to our customers. And we love the instant gratification of clean chandeliers! Please read through the following strict requirements before getting to the fun and juicy details of the job description: Must have a driver’s license. The shop location is in Chino. No face or neck tattoos. No felonies in last 7 years. No smoking on the clock. No face or nose rings. No DUI’s. Must be willing to pass a drug test and a background check. Must be fluent in English and legally able to work in US. Please note that you must have at least three years driving experience and be able to lift and carry heavy ladders up stairs, etc. by yourself. Do not apply if you are not strong enough to do this. You cannot fake it. We want our employees to be the right fit and we want to keep everyone safe. The driving experience comes in handy as we have five counties in our territory. Also, you must be okay with working and spending time by yourself. Some do not like this, but most of us at Witherspoon enjoy listening to podcasts, audiobooks, and music while we work so it doesn’t bother us. Although you will be trained by someone and will sometimes be working on bigger jobs with others, you may be by yourself most of the time. We also work within OSHA regs. so if you don’t work safely please do not apply. This is HUGE for us. So is honesty. And reliability. We do background checks on a new employees, so please don’t apply if you are trying to hide something. Now to the juicy stuff: The days are approximately ten to twelve hour days so you’ll get to your hour needs quicker in the week. The work weeks are short: 3 to 4 days for full timers (40 hours), 2 days (20 hours). We clean chandeliers mostly, but we also crate them, repair them, and do installs and removals. No experience required. I train you well and I also pay very well. I am growing my small team so now is a great time to hop aboard. I have had my business for 14 years so this business is small but work is very stable and we are now in growth mode. What will the work consist of? We clean and repair all types of chandeliers and light fixtures. You must not be afraid of heights. Daily on the road time is usually 2 to 4 hours since we drive to multiple counties so you must be a great driver and be willing to sit in traffic (on the clock, of course). Every morning we meet at the shop at 5:30 so you must be willing to get up early. We might be in San Diego one day and LA the next. I see this as a perk of the job. We go places most people do not. We see parts of the counties that we otherwise would never see. We love this! We do mainly residential customers, but some commercial. I love my customers and enjoy chatting with them. Being a social person is necessary in this job. You don’t need to entertain but you should be able to hold a conversation. Most homes we are in are upper middle class or upper class so you must be presentable and an honest individual. I’m looking for someone who wants to work and is looking to stay on for at least a year or two if not more. Tell me why you are a good fit for this job and what 1374 multiplied by 739 is. If you don’t I’ll assume you didn’t read this entire thing and thus I will have to conclude that you do not have attention to detail, which is very important in this job. I’m a boss with a unique style and perspective and I’m looking for workers that can be themselves but also fit into a team. Please remember to tell me about yourself, don’t just send a resume or I will not contact you. Have a safe day!
