Full-time, permanent beekeeper positions available at Kona Queen Hawaii on Napo’opo’o Road in Captain Cook. Seeking experienced beekeepers but also willing to train reliable persons with good work ethics. Competitive pay and excellent benefits are offered for full-time, long-term employment. Valid driver's license and clean driving history required. Must be able to lift 30 - 60 pounds at times. Daily Tasks May Include • Maintaining Beehives (feeding, pulling honey, treating for pests and diseases as needed) • Maintaining Bee Yards (trimming / spraying vegetation, etc.) • Catching Queens (sitting, bending, crouching) • Honey Extracting All beekeepers may be asked to perform other tasks as needed. Salary commensurate with experience: Candidates with no beekeeping experience will start at $15/ hour. Experienced beekeepers will start at a higher rate.
