The 108 Music Series of the Cheverly American Legion presents Live at Food Truck and Fresh Air event-Terri and the Back Alley Rhythm Cats. This is a rain or shine event. Their will be 2-3 food trucks and an ice cream truck. One truck will be Let's Chow (www.letschow.org), the others will TBD. Food and music start at 6pm and ends at 8pm. In the event of rain the music will be in our large hall with lots of dance space. Craft beer on tap. The band is playing for tips, so please be as generous as possible. The American Legion is a congressionally chartered mutual-aid veterans organization founded to benefit those veterans who served during a wartime period as defined by the U.S. Congress. The American Legion Post 108 in Cheverly was first organized in 1933 and completed in 1941; built by post members of materials collected from Rock Creek Park, the East Wing of the White House, a bridge in Washington, DC, the McLean Mansion, and contains old doors from the U.S. Supreme Court. The post family currently has over 450 members and sponsors Boy Scout Troop 257and Cub Scout Pack 257.
