Does Lethal Weapon contain all of the snow, gift-giving, turkey-eating, and mall Santas that we’re used to seeing in a Christmas movie? No. One of our favorite Havre de Grace Arts Collective holiday traditions returns to the Opera House with the annual "Mayor's Pick" viewing party. This year, Mayor Bill Martin has chosen the buddy cop action film, Lethal Weapon. Does Lethal Weapon contain all of the snow, gift-giving, turkey-eating, and mall Santas that we’re used to seeing in a Christmas movie? No. But that’s what makes this movie so special! It’s the journey of two (now) friends facing the challenges of the holidays together. Sure, there are explosions and shoot-outs, but they’re set to some of our favorite Christmas tunes, aren’t they? Join us for the fun! Cash Bar – wine, beer and the mayor's “signature drink." The Arts Collective is a 501(c)(3) organization created to address the cultural and economic needs of Havre de Grace and the surrounding region.  The Arts Collective has several goals. First, to bring regional and national high caliber performances to The Cultural Center at the Opera House that engage and attract audiences.  Second, to further develop the Arts and Entertainment (A&E) District program of the State of Maryland attracting artists to live, work and play in Havre de Grace.  Third, to enhance the arts by serving as the umbrella organization for the Arts by The Bay Gallery, serving as a cooperative gallery and offering educational opportunities which nurture learning and creativity.
