Join us for a Whisky Tasting of Independent Bottlers Single Cask Nation and Single Malts of Scotland Join us on Wednesday, September 29, from 6:30-8:30 pm at Norfolk Wine & Spirits, for a tasting of Single Cask Nation with founder Joshua Hatton, and Single Malts of Scotland with ImpEx Sales & Education Specialist Jay Cole. Single Cask Nation is an independent bottler based in the U.S., founded in 2011 by Joshua Hatton and Jason Johnstone-Yellin, two former whisky bloggers. Each cask selected is bottled at natural cask strength, free from chill filtering and artificial color, with the distillery source front and center. They also bottle American bourbon, rye, single malt, light whisky (aka American grain whisky), rum, and mezcal. The Single Malts of Scotland is an independent bottler based in the U.K., imported in the U.S. by ImpEx Beverages. They search for casks from the different distilleries around Scotland, looking for the best malts to share with whisky enthusiasts the world over. Each cask is sampled and only if it is found to be of the best quality will it be bottled in the Single Malts of Scotland range as a Single Cask or as part of a small batch. Lineup to be announced.
