The DYC & Endicott Estate are sponsoring a Halloween themed movie night and dance party to sponsor youth this Holiday Season HO HO HO! Every year the Dedham Youth Commission provides gifts to over 400 children in Dedham thanks to awesome organizations and individuals like you! As you can imagine, due to the current pandemic, the need is even bigger this year! Therefore, the DYC and Endicott Estate are teaming up to host a night of Family Fun and Fright on Friday, October 8th. To gain admission to this event, we are kindly asking you to donate a $50 gift card, which will be given to a child in need this Holiday Season. (Gift cards to major retailers please - Walmart, Target, Amazon or Visa). Ok, now on to the event details! This event is called "STARS, SCREENS & SCREAMS" as it will include the following: -Costume characters will be in attendance to pose for pictures at the Photobooth! To date, Curious George, Daniel Tiger and Pete The Cat will be in attendance! Print outs of glossy pictures will be provided to all guests. -A live dj, along with the characters, will lead an interactive dance party for the kids and families! Let's put on our Boogie Shoes and do the Cha Cha Slide, Monster Mash and more! Classic Halloween Music Videos will also be shown on the giant movie screens! Think Ghostbusters and the like! -A Halloween cartoon, "Pumpkin Pageant," starring Pete The Cat will be shown on the 2 giant 25 foot screens! -Kids and families are encouraged to come in costume! Candy will be given out! Please note that this event will take place on the lovely lawn of Endioctt Estate under the beautiful stars on a brisk October night. Wear a sweatshirt, bring a blanket, pack a lawn chair and sip some coco! Once again, we kindly ask for a donation of a $50 gift card per party (parents/guardians/kids), which will be given to a child in need this Holiday Season! So come on down on October 8th and make some great memories with your family and provide a memorable Christmas for a child in need as well. Boom! PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT IS OPEN TO 75 FAMILIES.
