6:10 Tour on October 8 for Candlelight Tours. Take a walk through history! Tours are given at night by lantern and candlelight throughout the Cemetery – you will walk about one mile Six true stories from local history on each tour Stories are performed by professional actors in period costume All new stories every year—no repeat scripts All six stories are written by professional scriptwriters Tours conclude with refreshments, and a special exhibit of historical documents used to write scripts will be available virtually All proceeds benefit the historic preservation of Old City Cemetery (a non-profit organization) Bring a Mask and a Flashlight and get ready for an evening of fun and history! *Due to COVID-19 and limited indoor space: We will not be offering a rain-route or rain-day this year. However, this year’s Candlelight Tours will be professionally recorded, and the video will be sent to you should your tour be canceled due to rain. Masks will be required during the tours. A waiver that will be sent to you upon purchase of tickets must be signed before the tour.
