Children ages 8 and younger are invited to dress in their costumes and come to Stew Leonard’s on Long Island to go trick-or-treating. Children ages 8 and younger are invited to dress in their costumes and come to Stew Leonard’s on Long Island to go trick-or-treating. Clear goodie bags will be given to children to collect their candy as they visit trick-or-treating stations throughout the store. Stew Leonard’s famous characters, including mascot Wow the Cow, will be available for taking socially distant photos with the children. Due to a high level of interest from our shoppers, Stew Leonard’s in Farmingdale and East Meadow will offer free tickets to the Trick-or-Treat event to 225 kids. The event will have timed entry so that the store does not become overcrowded; this is for the safety and comfort of all our customers. Masks are recommended. Families can register for the free tickets via EventBrite.com. Plus, all kids under age 12 who wear their Halloween costume to Stew Leonard’s on Long Island on Sunday, October 31, 2021, will receive a free ice cream cone at our Ice Cream Parlor. And, if they say “Trick or Treat” at the checkout lane, they’ll receive a free small treat bag!
