Need a key made for an old door lock

Hello, I recently bought a house in Melrose, built in 1900, and we didn't get a key to the porch door, which relatively old looking. We would love to not need to replace it - and to be able to lock the door. Can anyone help me with this, or refer me to the right person? A locksmith or handyman etc? Cheers and thank you in advance.
