introducing Eli, the wonderful cat!

Description

Eli is an orange tabby, a stray who came to our backdoor for assistance and food. We took him to the vet, who had him neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV (both negative), and had a small wound on his leg taken care of. His leg has recovered great, and he has also received his first round of vaccines. Eli is very sweet natured! He loves to be pet and he does face nuzzles and puts his nose up to yours. He has never done the cat nippy/love-bite thing to us. He is easy to pick up and hold, and he sleeps quietly at night. He loves to eat and can easily be coaxed into a carrier if that's needed. He enjoys napping, grooms a lot, and keeps himself clean. He is very tidy and uses his litter box. We don't have children ourselves, and aren't exactly sure how he would act around them, but he clearly enjoys food so much that it is likely he will like a child that feeds him treats :) Why are we offering Eli? We already have a home full of cats, and definitely want him to go to a home where he will have good care and attention. Please only inquire about Eli if you are wanting an indoor-only cat. He is really terrific, and we want him to go to a very welcoming home. We are asking a $50 rehoming fee as we want to make sure he goes to a loving person or family who will care for him (we paid much more for all the vet work).
