Jig Head's biggest annual party is back with food, patio games, raffles, live music, and of course our famous Hafenmeister Oktoberfestbier. It's Jig Head's fifth Oktoberfest, and you're invited! Jig Head's biggest annual event features live original music, games, costume contest, tender juicy pulled pork roasted on site, our famous Oktoberfesbier called Hafenmeister, and new this year is the Shops and Hops street market. It's going to be a stupendous lot of fun, so don't miss it! Share this info on social media and bring your friends along because the more the merrier! FOOD: The Jig Head Pit Crew will prepare melt-in-your-mouth pork shoulder, smoked bologna, and brats. GAMES: Once again we'll feature the hilarious beer puppets. We'll also have patio games like giant Jenga, giant Connect Four, Corn Hole, and of course Kubb. RAFFLES: If you buy a ticket (to be on sale soon) you will automatically be entered into the hourly giveaways. MARKET: Have you ever been to a street market anywhere abroad and wished there were something like it here at home? Well, the wait is over! Welcome to Shops and Hops Market at Jig Head, featuring all kinds of local small businesses with just the sort of products you're looking for. Browse the market, chat with the vendors, and pick up some unique items you can't find anywhere else. COSTUME CONTEST: This year we will be giving away a cash prize for the best, most authentic Lederhosen and Dirndl, so be sure to dress for the occasion. The best place to buy the real thing is at Germanwear on Ebay. She makes authentic traditional German clothing with wool, leather, linen, and cotton. MUSIC: To be announced soon. If you're interested in performing, please send a private message. PARKING: Don't park at the Baptist church across the street. Convenient overflow parking is available next door at 861 South Willow Avenue. Park in the back and take the sidewalk straight to the Jig Head beer garden. We also have permission to park in front if there's no room in the back. FREE ADMISSION: But as always, tickets will be available to reserve mugs, huge beer discounts, meals, and raffle entries.
