Seeking players (drums, bass, keys) to turn recording project into full live band. Goals for 2022 include one gig/month, touring, and studio time. Hoping to work out live versions of songs collaboratively, with lots of room for writing your own parts. Style of music varies, but generally falls into the realms of indie/sophistipop/RnB/power-pop. Influences include Prefab Sprout, Beach Boys, Steely Dan, Shintaro Sakamoto, XTC, Flipper’s Guitar, Young Thug, Lee Perry, Parliament, Patrice Rushen, Haruomi Hosono Background: Moved to Chicago from California during the pandemic, and have transitioned from live/band-based effort into studio/recording project. Have developed a strong online presence on Spotify/Youtube/Bandcamp/IG, but looking to get back into live/local/regional scene in 2022 - playing shows, touring, possibly making records.
