Come stretch your legs with us on a 3-5 mile hike with the Bay Area USC alums! Come stretch your legs with us on a 3-5 mile hike with the Bay Area USC alums! We'll be hiking a moderate, partially-shaded loop that ventures through scenic redwood trees and meadows at Wunderlich Park, and then will likely grab brunch/lunch in the area afterwards. Please plan to arrive BEFORE 8:30am so we can start the hike on time. This park can get crowded by mid-morning.PARKING LOT: FREE parking!There are only about 20 designated parking spaces in the lot so it is recommended to come early.If the lot is full, one can park along Woodside Road at their own risk. Please pay attention to signage for parking restrictions.WHAT TO BRING: Appropriate footwear and clothing (if you have Trojan gear, even better!)Light daypackWater/sports drink for hydrationSnacksSun protectionMask (especially if you plan to grab brunch/lunch with us afterwards)COVID-19 Precautions: Each individual is responsible for his/her own safety. Please don't come if you are feeling unwell, have recently tested positive, or have recently interacted with others who may be unwell or have tested positive. In accordance with local San Mateo County guidelines, please practice social distancing and wear masks when indoors. If you are not fully vaccinated, you must wear a face covering during the entire event. A mask is optional for those who are fully vaccinated. 2. Maintain safe distancing between other attendees. 3. Refrain from attending if you are sick, and have either tested positive for COVID-19 or been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive (This includes those who are fully vaccinated as well) 4. Comply with all site regulations of the venue where the event is hosted. 5. Release the organizers of the event of any liabilities for damages or injuries incurred by you during the event. The USC Asian Pacific Alumni Association (USC APAA) connects and supports USC alumni of Asian Pacific origin/descent, encompassing ethnicities from Asia and the Pacific Rim, with the university and one another lifelong and worldwide through meaningful and relevant programs. With many APAA Trojans in the Bay Area, the goal of this group is to be an extension of the APAA organization based out of Los Angeles and to reach a great audience focusing on networking events, scholarship fundraising, advancement and communication.
