Equipment Technician (Mechanic) for the golf course turf center. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a preventative maintenance program on all equipment.
Purchase repair parts and replacement supplies.
Inspect, adjust, diagnose and repair mechanical defects in many types of golf course maintenance equipment.
Perform reel & rotary mower grinding/sharpening, repair of gas & diesel engines, service hydraulic and electronic systems.
Incorporate safe work practices in daily activities.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required. College or technical school training preferred.
Prior golf course maintenance experience is a plus.
Knowledge of the theory, care and operation of internal combustion engines, hydraulic systems and mowing equipment maintenance. Reel grinding and setup experience is preferred but not required.
