Description

Prenatal yoga classes intended to incorporate strength, breathwork and community in preparation for parenthood. Spend one night each week in community with other soon-to-be-mommies for a yoga session intended to balance and build strength to carry us into our most present and productive selves. Every Tuesday, from August 24th through October 5th, join a one-hour prenatal yoga class at Freedom Park (in the grass across the greenway/bridge from the Charlotte Nature Museum.) Each class is intended to: • Enhance body awareness and self-observation; connection to physical and physiological sensation • Provide a supportive atmosphere to meet other new moms and to share your experiences, both rewarding and challenging • Build strength and muscle coordination in preparation for labor and delivery • Balance energy to aide with sleep • Develop breathing techniques useful for calm during labor and delivery, as well as for general relaxation • Increase flexibility while lubricating joints, tendons and ligaments Waiver Consent and Photo Release: By purchasing this ticket I hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue employees or instructors from "Prenatal Yoga {Cheers & Namaste}" from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the releases, or otherwise, while participating in such activity, or while in, on or upon the premises where the activity is being conducted or in transportation to and from said premises.  I additionally agree to grant the employees and instructors of "Prenatal Yoga {Cheers and Namaste}" and its authorized representatives permission to record on photography film and/or video, pictures of my participation. I further agree that any or all of the material photographed may be used, in any form, as part of any future publications, brochure, or other printed materials used to promote, and further that such use shall be without payment of fees, royalties, special credit or other compensation.
