IMPORTANT NOTES:All grades reflect the 2021-2022 school year.Students must either live or go to school in Columbia County to participate OR have permission from a 4-H staff member in their home county to participate.Schedules are subject to change as current COVID conditions fluctuate. 4-H CERTIFIED TEEN LEADER TRAINING Saturday, October 23 - Time: 9 am - 4 pm - Grades: 7-12 Cost: $30 - Limit: 15 - Register by October 19 Are you currently in the 7th -12th grade and want to have more 4-H fun in your county? If so, Certified Teen Leader Training is for you! This training is for current 4-H members only. Students must have participated in 4-H during the 2019-2021 school years in order to register.
The activity fee covers the cost of lunch, materials, and an official teen leader name tag. Students will have a choice of 2 slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza, chips, and a drink.
Certified Teen Leaders (CTL) will successfully have learned and developed the knowledge and leadership skills needed to take on additional responsibilities in their clubs, work closely with adults and 4-H staff members, serve on committees, help younger 4-H'ers in their project areas, and complete community service activities. They also help with summer camp, DPA, and other fun 4-H events throughout the year
