ARTabilityAZ after school art classes are back! Here's the September schedule. ARTabilityAZ is back with our after school art classes! Classes will begin on Tuesday, September 7th. Ms. Sokec will be teaching the classes in the Art Room on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Class fees are $10/session payable the first day of class and are optional. Choose the day or days you'd like your child to attend art class. Registration is limited to the first 25 students who sign up. Students not picked up by 4:45 pm will be checked into the after school program. MONDAY - Sept. 13, 20, 27 CARTOONING – Participants learn drawing skills and story development through cartooning. Participants will develop a short comic-book style story, utilizing suggested themes, cartoon drawing skills and imagination. TUESDAY - Sept. 7, 14, 21, 28 SPACED OUT – Planets, rocket ships, stars and martians! Learn about our Universe “out there” by creating fun refrigerator magnets with papier mache and paint. THURSDAY - Sept. 9, 16, 23, 30 SOCK PUPPET THEATER – Create a story, then create your sock puppet characters... get ready to perform your play in our colorful, live Puppet Theater! ARTabilityAZ is a statewide organization whose mission is to create an inclusive community where people with and without disabilities can learn through, participate in and enjoy the arts.
