Description

Hub Campus Topping Out Ceremony A Topping Out Ceremony is a tradition held once the last beam is placed atop a structure that is being built. A tree or leafy branch is placed on the topmost wood or iron beam, often with flags and streamers tied to it.  Join us on September 24, 2021 at 12:30PM for our Topping Out Ceremony as we celebrate the placement of the final beam on the Hub Campus structure that will be home to the Women's Shelter and expanded Hub Operations Center! All the members of the erection crew, the building contractors, staff, architects, sponsors, donors and supporters are invited add their signature to this beam and take part in this great milestone! Following the ceremony, join us back at the Plaza for a cookout provided by Turner Construction. Parking: Parking will be available on Washington Ave. for Topping Out attendees. Please note that due to construction fences, parking cannot be accessed from the west side of the site. To locate parking, please use N Orleans St. or N Manassas St. to access Washington Ave. and head west to the parking area. The event will take place on the west side of the campus at High Street and Washington Avenue. Every day, the Hospitality Hub works to help people exit homelessness. We are experts in our field, and we leverage our core work’s proven capacity to develop innovative solutions for our clients’ problems.
