Learn to needle felt while making toadstools, and combine them with natural materials to make a beautiful tea-lite decoration! Participants will learn to needle felt by making awesome toadstools, which we will then add to scavenged natural materials to make a forest themed tealight decoration, similar to the one pictured. All materials provided, but participants may bring their own "found" items to add to their pieces. Over the course of three classes, the basics of needle felting will be taught, including going over materials and tools, learning and practicing techniques, and making a variety of fun fungi! The final project will be comprised of several toadstools students make, in addition to natural materials. This class takes place over the course of three sessions all included in one admission. This class is appropriate for folks 12 and up. A properly worn mask is required for the duration of this class.
