MARLBOROUGH, MA — Marlborough-based Digital Federal Credit Union will host a webinar this month focused on how parents can plan to pay for higher education costs. The event will be held in conjunction with America Saves, a campaign aimed at helping low and moderate-income people save money. Here's more from a DCU press release: Digital Federal Credit Union, better known as DCU, has partnered with America Saves, to sponsor their upcoming #ThinkLikeASaver Town Hall webinar, "Paying for Education." The online event being held on Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. and is open to the public and free to attend. The webinar brings industry experts together to discuss student loans, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, and how to apply for scholarships and grants. Attendees will walk away with a clear perspective, knowledge, and strategies to help jumpstart their college funding journey. "DCU's sponsorship of this event aligns with our vision that all members achieve their financial goals collaboratively," said Sean McNair, DCU's VP of Marketing. "Providing financial education through partnerships with organizations such as America Saves is just one way we can help individuals gain financial insight and make fully informed decisions."
