Press release from the City of Long Beach Parks and Recreation Department: September 13, 2021 The Long Beach Department of Parks and Recreation in cooperation with Skudin Surf held the Annual King and Queen of the Beach Kids Surf Contest this past weekend. The event is in memory of Brian Ward and Danny Bobis. The turnout was huge this year and the kids had an awesome time. The competition was fierce but they ultimately crowned a King and Queen of the Beach. The King of the Beach is Beau Chan and the Queen of the Beach is Tatiana Panuthos. See the list of winners below.
