Join Livonia Kiwanis to volunteer making fleece tie blankets for children in the hospital through Fleece & Thank You. All materials provided The Kiwanis Club of Livonia is hosting a volunteer event and we would like to invite you to attend and volunteer with us! The event will be held on Saturday, September 25 from 10am-1pm at Feldman Chevrolet of Livonia (32570 Plymouth Rd, Livonia, MI 48150). We will be making tie blankets for children in the hospital through Fleece & Thank You. All materials will be provided by Kiwanis and there is no charge for the event, we are just looking for volunteers. The Kiwanis Club of Livonia participates in many different volunteer activities in the Livonia community focusing on helping children; if you are unable to attend this event but would like information on some other upcoming volunteer events with our club, please let us know and we would be happy to share those additional dates with you. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers, dedicated to changing the world - one child and one community at a time.Our local club, the Kiwanis Club of Livonia Early Risers, was started in 1982.  We focus on serving kids in the Livonia community through scholarships, food packagings, education grants,  and more!  We are composed of over forty volunteers, and our members conduct several fundraisers, service projects, and community events throughout the year.​  We meet every Tuesday Morning from 7:30-8:30 A.M. at the Livonia Chamber of Commerce (33300 Five Mile Road, Suite 212, Livonia) and on the 2nd Wednesday of Each Month at 6:15 P.M. at Blue Plate Diner (32610 W Seven Mile Rd  Livonia).
