Stephanie Grady Cole, a Caregiver, is hosting her first Caregiver Appreciation Day event to honor Caregivers in Bay County , Florida. In memory of my mother Mrs. Mildred Grady, I decided to host  a Caregiver Appreciation Day on September 25, 2021. This day is special because I lost my mother on this day in 2017. I continue to care for an older brother who is disabled. It is my desire to show Caregivers in Bay County how much they are loved and appreciated. These Men and Women will be recognized and have the opportunity to connect with others who do what they do on a daily basis. So you ask what you can expect? Well here it is:* Lunch will be catered by Vittles Catering* Valuable information will be disseminated by representatives from various agencies  * There will be an assortment of fun activities. "Fun" is a commodity that Caregivers lack often if not always * There will be music to comfort the mind and soul * Door prizes and giveaways Location: This event will be held at the Lynn Haven United Methodist Church in their Community Room from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Considering this is my first year hosting this event, the venue is small and the room will only accommodate a certain number of people. Therefore, tickets will be issued on a first come-first served basis. Pssst.....I am only asking that you bring a pair of scissors and any magazines you may have that you no longer need. Sounds familiar? I have everything else covered.
