I need a Carpenter/General Contractor's help & guidance in lifting a gable to replace the support beam, as well as replacing a 10x10 deck and benches. Please share your knowledge, tools, time and assistance. Only need experienced professional who can help me FINISH the project now. I want to learn! I'm a former paint contractor so I have a lot of tools, including a compressors, nail gun, skill saw, miter saw, etc, but you should have your own...and a RELIABLE TRUCK to pick up lumber and make a dump run. YOU MUST HAVE JACKS!!! This should take no more than 3 days for 3 people. DAY 1 - raise and support gable, demo deck and pour concrete post pads, dump deck debris. DAY 2 - place beam on post, lower gable, frame deck, hang joist and frame bench. DAY 3 - add decking, stringers, risers and treads. Get paid :) I want to start immediately with you and a general helper. NOTE - This is NOT "day" or "piece" work. This is a project job. Once we're done I will pay you in full!
