NEWARK, NJ — FedEx is hiring package handlers in Newark, and will be holding a job fair in the city on Monday, Sept. 20. According to a city social media post, Newark will be holding a positive recruitment event with FedEx Ground at 10 a.m. at the NAN Tech Center, 400 Hawthorne Avenue. Interested job hunters can RSVP online. According to the advisory, the full and part-time jobs pay up to $17 per hour. Applicants must be 18-years-old and must be able to load, unload and sort packages, and perform other related duties.
