Motorcycle Fire Under Investigation; No Injuries, Deaths Reported

JOPPA, MD — A Sunday evening motorcycle fire in Joppa that caused $5,000 of damage is currently under investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshal. The fire occurred at around 7:25 p.m. on Sunday, the State Fire Marshal's office said in a news release. It was discovered by a passerby at the intersection of Pulaski Highway and Joppa Farm Road. No injuries or deaths were reported, though a 1996 Harley Davidson xl883 Sportster sustained damage, according to the news release. Firefighters took five minutes to control the fire.
