Press release from West Chester University: September 13, 2021 WCU also advanced to the top 40 Best Value Schools Regional Universities North at #40 -- one of the only public institutions in the top 40. WCU moved into the top 25 Best Colleges for Veterans (Regional Universities North) at #15, up from #23. WCU also advanced among Top Performing Universities in Social Mobility, rising to #122 from #136. For the first time, West Chester was included on the list of Most Innovative Schools Regional Universities North at #20. WCU is also listed as Best Undergraduate Teaching Regional Universities North at #24. U.S. News published undergraduate nursing program rankings for the first time this year using data from a specialized nursing peer assessment survey administered in the spring and summer of 2021. West Chester is listed at #251 for Best Undergraduate Nursing. Now in their 37th year, the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges rankings' latest edition assesses 1,466 U.S. bachelor's degree-granting institutions on 17 measures of academic quality.
