JOB SUMMARY: The person in this position is a responsible, artistic, and energetic person who will work out of our Vogt Visual Arts Center (VVAC) and the Performing Arts Center (PAC). This dual position will manage and teach crafts and interactive party games for parties at the VVAC with up to 20 children, operate the ticket booth for events at the PAC, provide information about upcoming shows, classes, and special events to the public, and supervise functions at both the VVAC and PAC. LOCATION: Vogt Visual Arts Center & Performing Arts Center – Tinley Park, IL QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified individual must have a high school diploma or equivalent with experience demonstrating good leadership skills. Additionally, this candidate must be able to communicate effectively with adults and children of all ages. Current CPR certification or have the ability to obtain CPR certification is needed. INCENTIVES: This is a year-round, part-time position with 10-15 hours per week, including the occasional weekday afternoons/evenings and weekend days/afternoons/evenings shifts. Pay rate begins at $11.00 per hour and qualifies for a complementary membership to the Fitness Center, Recreation Center, Water Park and Dog Park. Flexible work hours are preferred.
