Our riding program is a fun, active, boutique program that offers first class customer service to both the horse and rider. Our Freelance Hunter/ Jumper Rider and Instructor must be capable of teaching beginners to advanced riders on the flat and over fences up to (2’6”). Most of our lessons will be private so you are able to create a unique and innovated riding experience. Rider must be able to ride green to advanced horse jumping 2’9”. Rider must be able to customize the riding program for each horse with collaboration with the Equestrian Director.
• Work history of training, riding, and jumping 2’9” plus, is required.
• Currently riding and ability to ride and train 3-4 horses a day on the flats and over fences.
• Ability to travel and coach clients at horse shows, off site events, and clinics will be required for this position.
• Plan, market, and host multiple clinics and or demonstrations to our members throughout the year
• Plan and set a gymnastic and jump course from beginner to advanced riding abilities
• Plan and develop a group lesson program that multi-discipline riders can take part in
• Successful working in a fast-paced environment
• Professional team player work ethic
• At least 2 years riding, training, and giving lessons at a A or AA show barn. Certified riding instructor with a
certification that has an emphasis in the Hunter/Jumper field or has the ability to become certified within 3
months of accepting the position.
