Here are the top stories in Los Angeles today: The City of Los Angeles has extended the deadline for city workers to provide proof of their vaccinated status. Mayor Eric Garcetti released vaccination reporting data after it was revealed the city expects thousands of workers to request religious exemptions. (NBC Los Angeles) The Four Seasons Hotel on Doheny Drive in Beverly Hills has filed suit in the Los Angeles Superior Court against its insurance companies. The suit claims that though the hotel lost $25 million during the COVID pandemic, the insurers have failed to cover these losses. (NBC Los Angeles) A woman in her 30s has died following a hit-and-run accident early Tuesday morning in Tarzana at Tampa Avenue and Oxnard Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The car may be a 2013-2018 Toyota Avalon and there is a $50,000 reward for information that helps solve this crime. (Daily News)A website paid for by Larry Elder's campaign has already started publishing unsubstantiated claims of election fraud in California's governor recall election. California Secretary of State Shirley Weber has dismissed these claims as inaccurate and assures a strict and secure election.
