Coroner IDs Body In William Street Alley As Joliet Man, 45

JOLIET, IL — The Will County Coroner's Office announced that the body found in an alley on Joliet's west side on Monday evening has been identified as 45-year-old Joshua Lee Cartright of Joliet. He was pronounced dead around 5:50 p.m. in the 1500 block of North William Street. Joliet police officials told Patch that Cartright's death is not considered suspicious. Sources told Patch the Joliet resident's death is believed to be a drug overdose. The final cause and manner of death will be determined at a later date pending police, autopsy, and toxicological report, the Will County Coroner's Office announced on Facebook. Joliet resident Bob Hernandez was at the scene Monday to produce one of his Facebook Live videos for his followers.
