Bassist available, moved to Bradenton a year ago. I'm 53, been playing since I was 13. Looking for other like-minded musicians for instrumental project along lines of Satriani meets Vulfpek/Fearless Flyers, jazz meets rock, metal, prog, fusion, etc. Grew up on Rush & Maiden, into the Aristocrats, Dream Theater, Steven Wilson, Porcupine Tree, Winery Dogs, Tesseract, Periphery, The Contortionist, Scale the Summit, VOLA, Sevendust, Flying Colors, King's X, Living Colour, Primus, Mr. Big, Extreme, Steel Panther, Vai, Mastodon, etc...yeah, I know no one plays this shit... Influences include Geddy, Billy Sheehan, Stu Hamm, Steve Harris to name a few. No BS or drama, just wanna play! Cover bands considered but have a full time career and no aspirations to be a rock star, way too old for that. With that said, rehearse 1x week, gig couple times a month at most.
