TUCSON, AZ—Drivers can expect some delays around Tucson the next few weeks as contractors trim palm trees in city median islands. The city of Tucson says crews from BrightView Landscaping will be working from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday. The schedule may change if there is inclement weather. Here is a list of trimming locations for this week: Monday, September 13, 2021, to Tuesday, September 14, 2021 Swan Road from Speedway Boulevard to 22nd Street Wednesday, September 15, 2021 22nd Street from Randolph Way to Plumer Avenue Thursday, September 16, 2021 Wilmot Road from Speedway Boulevard to Golf Links Road Friday, September 17, 2021 Valencia Road from Campbell Avenue to 12th Avenue
