SCOTTSDALE, AZ—A Rhode Island woman who was found dead on a hiking trail Sunday night may have died of a heat-related illness, multiple media outlets report.
Donna Miller, 57, of Rhode Island was found by Maricopa County Mountain Rescue Team members north of the Brown's Ranch trailhead around 9 p.m. Sunday, FOX 10 reports.
Officials said Miller and her husband went hiking around 12:30 p.m. and separated. He called 911 around 3:15 p.m. after she did not return to their meeting spot, according to ABC15.
