TUSCALOOSA, AL — Two more arrests have been announced in connection to a June shooting on Maxwell Circle that resulted in a man being hospitalized. Click here to subscribe to our free Tuscaloosa Daily newsletter and breaking news alerts The Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit says two 18-year-old men from Greensboro — Tywone Williams and Carlos Allen — have both been charged with attempted murder and booked into the Tuscaloosa County Jail. Their bonds are each set at $60,000. As Patch previously reported in June, Sawyerville resident Terrain Miles, 18, was arrested on the lone charge of attempted murder in connection to the shooting, which occurred sometime before noon on June 24 in the 1400 block of Maxwell Circle off of U.S. Highway 69 South. She bonded out shortly after her arrest. In the days following the shooting and her arrest, investigators said Miles had been in a relationship with the victim. The victim is originally from Greensboro but had been a resident of Tuscaloosa for some time. He was transported to DCH Regional Medical Center for his injuries and ultimately survived the shooting. "The victim also had ties to the Greensboro, Alabama area," said VCU Commander Jack Kennedy on Tuesday. "The investigation found that the suspects had intentionally sought the victim out in Tuscaloosa County in order to make the attempt on his life."
