Newly Renovated Child Care Facility Opens In Leeds

LEEDS, AL — Parents in the Birmingham metro are invited to an event at the newly renovated child care facility in Leeds this Saturday. The event will offer free, nonperishable food items to families in attendance while they learn about the programs at this state-of-the-art early education center. The event begins at 11 a.m. at the Childcare Resources facility at 7335 Ruth Avenue in Leeds. Families can also enjoy fun in the sun with bubbles, games, hula-hooping, Larry the Alabama Magic Man, and more! Eligible families interested in learning more about Early Head Start and Head Start services with children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years of age are welcome to tour the classrooms, meet the staff, and apply for the program. "We are pleased to add this high-quality early learning center for families in the Leeds area," Joan Wright of Childcare Resources said.
