In the lawsuit, Brooks' wife, Tomeka Miller, said the shooting was "senseless and unjustified" and states that the officers didn't provide the necessary medical attention that Brooks needed. Officers Garrett Rolfe and Devin Brosnan were named in Miller's lawsuit.
