Trust Automation designs, engineers, manufactures and supports control and power management systems for the most demanding defense, semiconductor, and industrial automation technologies. You will work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking role under the supervision of our Safety and Facilities Manager. What You Will Do: We are seeking an energetic and reliable Facility Cleaner to perform day-to-day building cleaning and maintenance at our company facility. Overall duties will include stocking and maintaining cleaning supplies, overseeing all cleaning jobs throughout the day, removing debris, emptying garbage bins, maintaining common room areas, restocking bathrooms and responding to all cleaning emergencies. The successful candidate will be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously. These duties include: • Cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, sweeping, waxing floors and vacuuming in cubicles, offices, community rooms, restrooms, reception and waiting areas on a daily basis • Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels • Cleaning spills, broken glass, and other messes up as quickly as possible • Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning such as ensuring bathrooms are sanitary • Maintain and disinfect work stations, community areas, break rooms, and conference rooms • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times • Other duties as assigned What You Need For This Position: • High school diploma or equivalent • 1-3 years of experience cleaning in a large organization preferred • Proactivity and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Knowledge of health and safety standards and the ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely • Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and maintain schedule while responding to incidents Physical Demands: • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds • Employee may be exposed to hazardous materials and chemicals. Employees must consult SDS in their work area and for all chemicals used.
