We are looking for a Keyboard player to join our band. We are not a gigging band and in the past have only played out once a year at a local private party in June; although once or twice a year (before COVID) we have played at an Open Mic. We usually rehearse on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon about once a month or so. We are a mature group of musicians playing a very eclectic song list which includes, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Eagles, Paul Simon, Grateful Dead, Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, John Prine, Iris DeMent, Jason Isbell, Bruce Springsteen, The Band, Toots & The Maytals, Johnny Nash, Wilson Picket, Marvin Gaye and other “Americana” music. We have a female lead singer, Electric Rhythm Guitar, Electric Bass guitar and a Drummer. We play / rehearse for fun about once a month in a permanent rehearsal space in a house that has a permanent Drum Kit set up, as well as Bass & Guitar amps, a PA and recording equipment. Our “raison d etre” is to have fun while playing songs we have played in the past as well as attempting new songs. We record the rehearsals, and the sessions are edited and mixed to a CD (or Mp4’s) that are distributed to the band after each recording session. We record through an Eight Channel Presonus digital interface into GarageBand.
