Who we are: -A Bassist/Lead-Vocalist and a Drummer with many years experience situated in a pro-home-studio -seeking another wheel for our tricycle. Specifics: Prefer an "Alternate-Tuning" guitarist (D-Standard/DADGAD/Open-G)/songwriter/backing harmony vocalist would be ideal for this project. NOTE: If you're stuck in E-Standard Tuning and want to play strictly covers, then this is probably not the project for you. A sample of material is available upon submitting a detailed inquiry/request. Please don't reply with "Let me hear your stuff?" -without describing who you are, where you're from, and what you're about. We practice weeknights 6-8pm and will probably be open to occasional weekends starting this fall. -Our focus is on Original Material (Heavy Blues, Rock Alternative Rock, Rocksteady, Progressive, Rock N Roll) possibly a handful of tastefully redone covers twisted in for good faith. -No drama, just good clean fun, one night per week, to whip it into shape, record an album worth of material and start test-marketing it for release. -A Full pro-backline and sound engineer on site, no need to bring anything actually but your favorite guitar and mic to get things rolling. -Our current goal is to plug away at, and perfect enough material to open or headline local gigs and network with other bands and musician friends. Final NOTE: If you don't have any ideas for originals that you can demo and communicate, then we'll probably be starting with a set of our "pre-written material". We've gotta start somewhere, and unfortunately it's NOT going to be covers.
