Seeking Qualified Maintenance Technician - Needed ASAP: Reliable Property Maintenance Technician for interior and exterior upkeep, repairs, maintenance, customer service for local rental units (houses and apartments). Job Requirements: Quick hands and technical knowledge of various odd jobs, well-organized with strong general repair skills. Attentiveness to detail, physical stamina, and quality of work with a proven reputation are essential for this position. Further responsibilities include: Maintenance and operations of units and grounds, ensuring all homes are clean, properly functional, in good repair, and safe. Performing basic grounds work including (but not limited to) planting, pruning, mowing, raking, bagging, trimming, clipping, planting, watering, weeding. Seasonal maintenance, including snow removal as needed Basic building repairs such as plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, HVAC and other home related systems. Opening and closing rental units and basic home systems (security locksets, alarms, lighting, HVAC, fire safety, utilities etc.) Managing trash removal. Cleaning, lubricating, and repairs; maintaining, organizing and proper storage of all required tools and equipment; Responsible for proper use of hand and power tools, ladders and lifts, personal safety gear, etc. Documenting and reporting of all rental units, buildings, units, or property related issues to supervisor, including all safety and operational issues. Observing and reporting all external work as performed by vendors, and third parties and facilitating access to work areas. Moving and transporting of appliances, equipment and supplies in and around building(s) and grounds.
