Little Elms Preschool Job title: Director Work Location: 117 N Elm St Escondido CA, 92025 Reports to: Center owner □Full-time □Part-time Brief Job Description: ● Manage preschool center. Supervise and lead staffs, design program plans, oversee daily activities, and prepare budgets. Key Responsibilities • Overseeing teachers and classroom activities • Hiring and training staff and teachers • Organizing professional development activities • Developing policies and procedures that meet state requirements and communicating them to staff and teachers • Managing and preparing budgets • Creating curricula and standards that support educational excellence • Working with staff to communicate with parents and students • Discussing student progress with parents • Coordinating the maintenance and cleaning of the facility according to state and local standards Ability to ● Communicate with staff and parents ● Active listening ● Critical thinking ● Interpersonal relations ● Stay organized ● Problem solving Knowledge of ● Working with children experience required or equivalent experience ● Supervising Staff and children ● Management ● Creating curriculum ● Enforcing and writing policies (Staff/Parent handbook) ● Forms, letters, flyers, Ads ● Social media management ● Computer software skills Word, Excel, PDF, Etc.
